En renfor\u00e7ant les organisations qui d\u00e9fendent la justice environnementale, en renfor\u00e7ant les capacit\u00e9s des formateurs de formateurs en environnement (TOT) et en offrant des abris aux d\u00e9fenseurs des droits de l\u2019homme environnementaux (EHRD), nous sommes \u00e0 l\u2019avant-garde pour garantir que la r\u00e9gion subsaharienne reste plus verte pour les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures. Notre approche a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9clin\u00e9e sous diff\u00e9rents styles.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p>Alors que le monde se pr\u00e9pare pour la Coupe d&#039;Afrique des Nations (CAN), notre partenaire <a href=\"https:\/\/magambanetwork.com\/\">R\u00e9seau Magamba, <\/a>Le groupe Magamba Network a fait campagne pour que TotalEnergies soit exclu de la comp\u00e9tition, qui est l&#039;un des plus grands facteurs d&#039;unification du continent. Magamba Network a \u00e9t\u00e9 l&#039;un des groupes de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile \u00e0 d\u00e9noncer le parrainage principal de la comp\u00e9tition par la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 fran\u00e7aise. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9, ont-ils soulign\u00e9, est tr\u00e8s port\u00e9e sur le \u00ab sportswashing \u00bb (blanchiment sportif) et pourtant elle reste le premier extracteur de p\u00e9trole et de gaz en Afrique. La campagne \u00ab Kick Total Out of AFCON \u00bb a remis en question le parrainage de la CAN par le g\u00e9ant des combustibles fossiles, exigeant qu&#039;il mette fin \u00e0 de nouveaux forages sur le continent et investisse s\u00e9rieusement dans les \u00e9nergies renouvelables. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Polluters_Out\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Expulser les pollueurs<\/a>La Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration africaine de football (CAF) a appel\u00e9 la Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration africaine de football (CAF) \u00e0 se d\u00e9barrasser des gros pollueurs comme TotalEnergies qui ne m\u00e9ritent pas d&#039;\u00eatre associ\u00e9s au beau jeu mondial. Au Rwanda, CIVICUS travaille beaucoup avec la Communaut\u00e9 des Porteurs du Rwanda (COPARWA) pour relier le processus d\u2019Examen Universel par les Pairs (EPU) et la promotion des pratiques environnementales. Ils sont attach\u00e9s \u00e0 la promotion de la justice climatique et des questions fonci\u00e8res, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 des recherches bien document\u00e9es sur l\u2019impact du changement climatique dans la r\u00e9gion. En juin 2024, lors d\u2019une visite \u00e0 Kigali, les dirigeants ont partag\u00e9 la mani\u00e8re dont leurs conclusions ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es lors de la COP 28, en tant que l\u2019un des principaux organismes environnementaux qui font pression pour l\u2019agenda du changement climatique.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" class=\"wp-image-529\" src=\"http:\/\/charmafrica.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/1f9af193-33e4-404f-83fc-d439560dbab9-1-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Women Environmental Human Rights Defenders (WEHRD) participate in a team building exercise in Kampala, Uganda earlier this year. La formation a renforc\u00e9 les comp\u00e9tences des EWHRD en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 physique en mettant l\u2019accent sur l\u2019identification des risques auxquels sont confront\u00e9es les WEHRD dans la r\u00e9gion et sur la mani\u00e8re d\u2019instrumentaliser les techniques d\u2019analyse des menaces et de cartographier les syst\u00e8mes de soutien existants. Elle comporte un \u00e9l\u00e9ment psychosocial qui fournit aux participants des outils pour prendre soin d\u2019eux-m\u00eames et pour se prot\u00e9ger dans leur travail. Il est important de noter que les WEHRD b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d\u2019un conseiller r\u00e9sident sur les questions li\u00e9es aux soins personnels et \u00e0 la protection \u00e9motionnelle dans leurs diff\u00e9rents espaces.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p>CHARM souhaite continuer \u00e0 soutenir, par l&#039;interm\u00e9diaire de ses partenaires, de telles initiatives. Nous sommes convaincus que ces efforts aboutiront \u00e0 la promotion de la flore et de la faune de la Terre, englobant l&#039;eau, l&#039;air, la terre, la flore et la faune.
