Les d\u00e9fenseurs des droits civiques (CRD), avec le soutien de Defend Defenders (DD), soutenus par CHARM Africa, ont collabor\u00e9 pour fournir un programme de formation de formateurs en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 physique et psychosociale \u00e0 ces femmes d\u00e9fenseures des droits humains environnementaux (WEHRD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les participantes, originaires d&#039;Afrique de l&#039;Est, ont \u00e9chang\u00e9 des histoires, explor\u00e9 des collaborations potentielles et se sont plong\u00e9es dans des conversations approfondies sur les d\u00e9fis \u00e9motionnels auxquels sont confront\u00e9es les femmes qui dirigent la protection de l&#039;environnement dans leurs communaut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La formation visait \u00e0 renforcer les comp\u00e9tences des femmes d\u00e9fenseures des droits de l\u2019homme en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 physique, en mettant l\u2019accent sur l\u2019identification des risques auxquels elles sont confront\u00e9es dans la r\u00e9gion, sur la mani\u00e8re d\u2019instrumentaliser les techniques d\u2019analyse des menaces et sur la cartographie des syst\u00e8mes de soutien existants. Le volet psychosocial de la formation a fourni aux participants des outils pour prendre soin d\u2019eux-m\u00eames et pour se prot\u00e9ger dans leur travail. Ils ont eu des s\u00e9ances avec un conseiller r\u00e9sident, qui a travaill\u00e9 avec eux sur des questions li\u00e9es aux soins personnels et \u00e0 la protection \u00e9motionnelle dans leurs diff\u00e9rents espaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La formation a \u00e9galement offert des opportunit\u00e9s de r\u00e9seautage aux participants qui, apr\u00e8s seulement 5 jours de formation, sont pass\u00e9s du statut d&#039;inconnus \u00e0 celui de coll\u00e8gues proches.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Imagine the impact of ten female environmental human rights advocates gathering for a week.
